Oh dear, I've been monitoring this thread every day every few hours and it breaks my heart so much. Kiara was the last dog I would have expected to get lost She is such a prized member of PT; I can not imagine PT without her. She will come back. She must come back.

God is watching over Ki. There is no reason to suspect the worst, just think how long Delta was gone. Sherman's sister Tori ran off and was gone for almost two weeks, but finally found her way to a home she'd been in for less than a week. Dogs are very good at taking care of themselves, and Kiara's smart and resourceful. She'll be back.

In the meanwhile, please take care of yourself, too, dear.

Coworker said they saw a dog on a road down the street and it went running into the woods. she couldn't see it well so she called us to check it out. brought our spotlight and called her name over and over, no response, not even a bark from another dog. gave a guy in the nearby neighborhood a flier, i want to go back later to post some signs/catch more people.

bought a newspaper on the way home, her add is up. her web ad for the paper has been up since we made the ad

all three of my dogs are completely licensed.
we've used about 6 rolls of packing tape, a can of matte sealer on our signs to "laminate" them.

She might not be *wearing* the tag - but the fact that you bought it and she HAS one
just may "help" the Animal Control & Service Folks do a better job of watching for her!

Geesh, I think about Kiara almost every second of the day! I agree with everyone..Kiara is so special to PT. The poor thing must be pertrified. I'm praying someone hasn't decided to make her theirs. Please please Kiara, come home! You're missed beyond words by everybody!
