I started bawling when I kicked Kiara's bowl in the corner of the kitchen after Simba and Nala were being fed.

We're going to go stand at the entrance and hand out fliers as people are leaving for work.

    Wish us luck.

I laid in bed last night and prayed and prayed for you and Kiara and again this morning when I woke up. I'm sitting here crying now. I want so badly for Kiara to be home safe and sound. I can't even imagine how you must feel. May God and all the luck in the world be on your side today.

I dreamt last night that I woke up, checked PT, and read that you had found Kiara. I wished so much that it would be true.

I'm still thinking about you and will be sending positive vibes all day. Good luck!

You are in my every thought!
On the flyers have you put that she is microchipped?
If someone has her and is keeping her, they'll see that she's chipped and you can prove that she's your dog!
I'm sending you a world of good luck hugs!!!

GREAT Idea, Kay - and yes **Wishes of Luck** are sent that the right person
    sees a flier!!

    Some thoughts:

How close do you live to a governmental border - where a DIFFERENT Animal Control or Service
    group might have jurisdiction?
If you live within 10 mile of such a border - you should contact ALL the different
Agencies - someone who "rescued" Kiara from the street may have easily
    crossed the border
and not know it - and the average driver is pretty bad about remembering
WHERE they were when something happens ...

And How are you Describing her?
    Many dogs are described one way (Rettie Mix) by the owner;
yet an Animal Control tech may look at her and say "Beagle Mix" ...
If the Agency only goes by THEIR description - you may miss a match.

I'd suggest you print off several good, detailed pics of her and hand-deliver them to
ALL the nearby Animal Controls & Rescues ...
and *look* at their "inmates" yourself.

Along this line - you need to be asking when the various shelters and Control Agencies will be
Putting "Unclaimed" dogs down ... I'd sure make it a point to visit all nearby
shelters BEFORE they euthanize ANY dogs - just to double-check.

You can't rely on her MicroChip - they may not even check her, not have the proper scanner, or just *miss* reading her chip.

    We're still Praying ~
Please God, send Kiara Home to Kay.

Those are good ideas Cinder & Smoke.

Do you have any malls near where you live? Perhaps you can put flyers on people's cars? Perhaps bring flyers to all the groomers, pet food stores, doggy day cares? How about schools? Do you know any kids where you can pay them $10/$20 and tell them to bring the flyers to school and hand them out? Maybe even pay them to go door to door?

I wished you lived near me. I would help you distribute flyers.

Best of luck. I know everybody here is thinking of you.

A friend of mine on another pet board lives a few miles away from you K.
She said that after work today she'd ride around her neighborhood and surrounding area to see if she finds / sees her with someone.
