Here is Skylar, our Husky/GSD mix. =)

We adopted him when he was 4 months old and had mange, an intestinal infection, worms, and a few other illnesses. Now he's healthy and happy! Just like its supposed to be.

Such a sweet face. You can tell he's very happy and loved.

When Travis was 8 weeks old he got parvo. We nearly lost him. He had to stay at the vet for about a week. Poor thing was literally skin and bones when he came home.

Here's our Boone. He's 6 months old, and has a lot of growing to do. The breeder said his sire and dam throw very large pups, so we're expecting him to be about 100-115 pounds when he's done growing. Right now he's about 60 pounds. Right now he's a bit akward looking with his small stature, but his dad was just stunningly gorgeous, so we hope he turns out even 1/2 as pretty as his dad

Not sure how this can possibly be comfortable, but he loves to lay like this:

Oh Boone... you cute little thing!
I wish I had pics of my pups when they were little, but I didn't have them when they were small. Sierra was 6 months old when I adopted her and Buddy was already a year old.

Boone is my first puppy, too. I have always adopted older dogs (Graham and Kersey were about 9 months old when I got them) and I had baby fever BAD. I needed a baby. We had lost a baby due to miscarriage, and we needed a puppy. I wasn't interested in another adult dog, I was bound and determined to get a puppy hehe. I have never had puppy pictures before Boone, either
