What worries all of us is that this is his second. He had one 13 years ago and they operated. He had a quad by pass surgery and the doctors gave him another 5 years to live after that because it was so bad.Originally Posted by Barbara

They gave him another 5 years.... THIRTEEN years ago? Well, he has aklready beat the odds so lets pray he can do it again! Prayer for him and those who love him.
Special Needs Pets just leave bigger imprints ♥ on your heart!
I'll will send positive thoughts to your FIL.
I don't know why they won't let your MIL in his room. I've never heard of that. Perhaps he is hooked up to some monitors and they don't want to scare her? Or maybe they just had to remove some monitors & wires before they let her in?
Anyhow, I hope he is doing well. Please keep us posted.
Take care.
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
I hope everything turns out ok with him!
HUGS,
Kim
I've just discovered this thread, Carmen.
I'm praying hard for You and Your family, especially for your Father-in -Law.
I will keep "him" in my thoughts.
Take Care,!!!!
It sounds like he's doing a little better. I hope he continues to improve and can get home soon. Hospitals are no fun. It's much easier to get well once you're in your own bed and surroundings.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Oh no!I am so sorry for you and your husbands family!
Like Laura said, though, he beat the odds once and maybe he can do it again!![]()
It sounds positive. I hope he continues to recover, maybe after his medicine is adjusted, he'll feel better. It may never happen again.
They still haven't figured out what caused my husband's heart "episode" last spring either, he's currently undergoing tests.
