That foal looks REALLY skinny What are you riding his face looks like a donkey but he has a horse tail lol.

Yeaa... the foal was kinda skinny, I don't know why. I noticed it more from the pictures than in person Yup Willie is a mule lol. He has both the detail of a horse and a donkey. His ears are pointed, he has really small feet,he has a short main (sp?)...then he has horse features. No one really liked riding him because hes a mule, but he great. Never trys to eat grass, runs fast, and alot of things. He is a two reiner... so I have to hold both my hands on the reins if you know what I mean. He wants to be a race horse lol.. he always keeps trying to speed up and is like tail gateing the other horses. He needs this special thing that goes around his tail and hooks on to the saddle because he has hardly any withers so that saddle slides back when going up hill, and this tail thing keeps the saddle in place.

I thought that too at first, but he has a fair bit of muscle on his hindquarters and some foals sometimes show a bit of rib. He looked happy enough chewing on that carrot, that's a great pic as the carrot kind of looks like a cigar
