Slick said she'd leave PT for a while! I think she needs some time to relax and get prepared for everything that goes on. However, I'm sure Slick will still appreciate our good wishes and e-mails, so let's keep them coming and not expect a reply. I'm sure Slick will be back!
Slick, I hope you've have stopped working and are winding down now - know that you're in my thoughts every single day. I just tried to call you, but the phone was busy. I'll be in contact.
We all love you!!

Thank you Randi. This is exactly what I need.....some quiet time and some time to rethink my priorities. Thanks to those who have emailed and PM'd and left phone messages. I just need some time away right now and I thank you for understanding. Gini will post an update after my surgery.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
Slick, your post this afternoon has made me feel considerably better.
I truly do understand..........you mentioned a long list of things you wanted to accomplish prior to your surgery.
All of us in our own way are very sensitive to you right now - we all care a great deal and each will show that in a different way.
You have a ton of friends here who care about you far more than you could ever imagine.
I, as always, will be glad to do anything that I can to help. But, at the same time, I realize, that I need to respect your privacy.
But, sometime in the future, I am looking forward to picking you up at the airport - and you will be wearing something absolutely outrageous and I will have to try to act normal.![]()
(whatever normal for me is)
I want you to be able to swim with the dolphins, and so help me, if you rent a dolphin costume - I will bring a tub of water to the airport.![]()

Quiet time is definately understandable and I'm glad to here your taking time for yourself. You know if you need anything you only have to ask. Take good care of yourself. {{{{HUGS}}}
I just wanted to send you some good thoughts today, Slick, and let you know that I am thinking about you.
Love,
Logan
Me too. Even though I'm not posting, I'm still there with you in spirit. I won't stop sending prayers.
Come back when you're ready. We'll still be here, cheering for you.
