I'm not sure about her weight and all, but I do know that she's an absolute doll. I LOVE her coloring. Such a pretty girl. Give her a kiss for me?![]()

She doesn't seem extremely underweight to me. My boy looked like that for a long time, until he was about a year old; however, I would feed her three times a day, 1 cup at a time. Puppies usually need to eat three times a day until they are about 4-5 months, some a little younger, but if you are only feeding her twice a day the 1-1/2 cups sounds right. The reason she is pooping so much is because Puppy Chow is full of a lot of fillers, which just makes more poop, not more nutrition. Find the best food you can find locally and use that. Boxers though do tend to look underfed for the first year of their life, mostly because of their body shape and large rib cage. I do think she needs a little more food but you'd actually be better off finding a little bit better food if you can. Try looking at feed stores, rather than pet or grocery stores, the often carry or can order, a better food like canidae, chicken soupe, or quite a few others. She will need to eat less and will poop less just because there are less fillers. She sure is adorable!
Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
I love you baby, passed away 03/04/2008
I'm no expert on the food or skinny part. I just wanted to pop in and say she is sooooooo CUTE!
I hope you keep on sharing Daisy with us.![]()
thank you all for your comments, i will find her a better food to eat im going to call down to the vet now and see if she would have nutro. i dont think she is that under weight either i know she is some but if you look at fully grown boxers they appear skinny to. she may be some but i dont know for sure ill find her a better quality food and go from there. thank you all again hope to keep hearing from u all
I think she does need a better quilty food . But I Just know what worked for Tyson.he was an abused dog when he was rescued he responded well to Purina one for puppys (I know most of you don't like it but thats what worked ok) I know feed him a food I order from my own busisness (any one wants to know PM me) I'am adding pictures of before when I just got him and after a while . Hewas about 6-8 months old before and a year in the after I have only had him since Feb. But as Vela says they do tend to be ribby as teens which yours is starting. He is at ideal weight of 60 pounds
I've been boo'dMerlin my angel
Hi Daisy girl! She does look a tad bit on the slim side, but sp does Jasper, and my vet said he was PERFECT. Does your vet think she's skinny?
Thank you Wolf_Q!
