Zena, you are adorable, what a sweet photo of you looking right up to have your picture taken. I don't know anything about ferrets but what a cutie you are. I would love to see you running around chasing the cat and the cat chasing you. Friends are in the eye of the beholder. I'm so glad your family adopted you and you weren't released in the wild, people don't realize what they are doing when they do something like that.
