Each dog is different & picks up potty training at their own pace. My RB
Shep/Husky mix learned in 1 week & never forgot it once. It was amazing
how smart he was. I'll probably never find another like him.

Smokey was another story. It was more like 3-4 months before he
was reliable in the house alone. He has been very good about it since then.

Maggie took about 4 weeks to train and never had accidents except when
    she had a bladder infection.

Charlie and Jamie each had it down in a matter of days. They understood the concept and knew not to go inside. They wouldn't let us know when they had to go though, or the signs were so subtle at first that we didn't know what to look for, but the only accidents they would have when we first got them was when we just didn't take them out frequently enough or something, but it was totally human error and not their fault.

Now after we moved into the apartment though we didn't have a large fenced in backyard to let them out and run around in whenever they wanted, we have to get the leashes out and actually walk them, so that transition for all of us was difficult so the first month or so Jamie and Charlie would both have a few accidents in the house but that was because, once again, we were adjusting to a new environment and new schedule and I had to get used to actually getting up, getting dressed and taking them outside versus just opening a door and letting them run outside. So that waspartly my fault, too.

Molly took a little while to train. She caught on quickly, but had accidents that were my family and my own faults. It took about two months for her to be completely reliable..

But she still has accidents every now and then in the middle of the night.

Kodie took about 3 weeks and Lucy took not even 2 weeks.
