Do you belive in God? why?

I was raised Catholic, and although I don't go to church often, still consider myself Catholic. Yes, I belive in God.

I do have some problems with organized religion. I have a problem with religions saying their way is the only way. I think the truth has to be somewhere in the middle, and that one spefic religion can't be the only way to Heaven.

This is a hard topic for me because I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes I believe and sometimes I don't. Like when we were at church and some of the people started talking in tongues and stuff... I found it funny and actually felt slightly embarrassed for them . My mom would tell me stories of all the stuff God does and did, and some of them I don't believe. Of course I can't tell anyone in my family that because they would be mad/sad towards me.

I sometimes believe in God because of what has happened to my mom. Long story short: Marriage Problems; divorce; then randomly found a wonderful new husband. Some of the stories of recoveries I believe. It's just hard to explain in 'type-able' words.

I am still very confoozled on this subject.
