Awww the pictures really don't do her justice at all. She is such a sweetheart. It was hard to take a picture as she just kept coming up to me for petties and rubbing herself against me. She has quite the purr on her also.

Last night she was sleeping in my arms and then all of a sudden she starts to suckle on my chin and kneading my face. It was soooooooooooooo cute.

Poof'ing is good! Good job! Now to "poof" the other cat! Well done and she's gorgeous! No way a street cat, not with that sweet pink nose!

I agree 100%!!! POOFING is a VERY, VERY Good thing Lorraine..now start working on that ornagie too. Good job, and the little girl is adorable! (I made an entire family go *POOF* last week lol)! No guilt on my shoulders either. And it was hubbys idea anyway to have "Priscilla" (OK..just came to me that she looks like Priscilla lol) follow you home.

Poofing is good. AND, I would reconsider the friend that said to ask him first. I don't mean reconsider as in get rid of her, BUT, she might not share the same views you do on responsible cat ownership if she thinks you should ask this guy first.....find someone else to adopt the kitty, and spare the story on how you acquired him/her. Problem solved!

You did a very good thing, in my opinion. I do remember a thread where someone felt that another kitty should not have gone *poof* - but, this pretty girl is a stray. The man may have fed her a few times but he is not a pet owner and does not seem to care at all for animals. So, I truly feel that you did the right thing, a very good thing.

I hope you find a happy and caring home for her. I am sorry that your friend changed her mind - too bad she has not talked to this drinking doper who does not care for animals or she would likely change her mind.

    ((((HUGS)))) to you Lorraine

OMG! She looks so much like my baby Dottie! And baby Dottie is such a little love bug, too. You DEFINITELY did the right thing, but ANNIE says you need to find her another home, FAST, so she doesn't steal Willy's heart!

I like what Karen said. Tell your friend that the guy said it's OK as long as she is well taken care of.

Now, work on making the little orange male go "POOF" as well!

OH MY GOSH!! She was doing that and you have to give her to someone else???? She is just BEAUTIFUL and I think there was nothing else you could do other than to snatch her.. Leaving a kitty outside on a busy street shows he don't care about his cats anyway.... we all know how dangerous it is outside for a kitty, even far away from traffic... (Just think how bad you would have felt if you passed up the chance to snatch her and saw her dead on the street the next day.)

Oh Laura, that was one thing that I dreaded if that ever happened. I think I would have literally picked up the kitten and pounded on the guys door until he answered and showed him exactly WHY you don't leave your kittens out to romp around in a busy traffic area.

Trust me when I say, that if for some reason, Joan decides not to take her, it will be very, very hard for me to let go of this love bug.

Thank you everyone for putting my mind at ease, even though I am sitting here on pins and needles just waiting for Pierre to come to my door asking if I had seen his kitty.

    Lorraine opens the door slighlty

    Yes? Oh Pierre

    Have you seen my cat?

    Umm? No.

Fingers crosses, pushing said kitty back from door with foot.

    OK then, thanks.

    closes door

    Lorraine,

You absolutely did the right thing and you are my hero! I have catnapped before and although I did fell guilty for doing it I knew it was the right thing to do for the cat.
