Don't give Slick any ideas, she will show up at the airport next time wearing something like that. It is so embarrassing to pick her up at the airport.
You forget, I'm in San Francisco - there's almost NOTHING we haven't seen here of course, some natives also walk around in nothing, but I stay out of those neighborhoods most of the time

Rest easy Gini. I don't foresee any LA trips for me anytime soon.

Just finished moving a bunch of PCs around and I'm hot and sweaty. Could certainly use a fireman to cool me down..... In the meantime I could use some ice water and some lunch. I've got salad today but I'll be visualizing that it's big ol' fat cheeseburger...

Mario, how about you and me lighting the candles on the cake???

Slick, you stay away from those burgers!! Go and eat your salad, and remember to get the carrots as we talked about earlier!

Sounds like you've done your share of work today, so sit back and relax - you can tell your boss that I have given you permission to do so!!

I've been jobless this week, but I tell you, it's harder than working! Will start again on monday though.

I'm in the mood for tea now, have put the kettle on. Bring your mug, and I'll pour you a cup! I've made an applecake too.

Anyone in here? No? Um, Orc, I'm going to need a set of wheels to get around the bar for a couple days, and you just volunteered. (I was out walking Lady last night, stepped on a rock and blew out my foot. 2 sets of xrays later, nothing is broken, but it feels like it is)

I need a LARGE something, and it has to be virtual, because I'm also on muscle relaxants for spasms. This week, needless to say, has sucked.

At least I get three days off from work!

I think the pig's done, I'll get it on the table shortly.

I am such a Slacker. Here I throw this piggy into the Pit and have to walk away and - yuck - work outside this realm of fun Thanks for picking up the slack guys. Can I use Ernesto as an excuse? Calm down ladies.. he's not a whole lot of fun, and a rather nasty sort. (Boy, talk about a wet blanket) But this is a verrrry special birthday for PetOfTheDay and special cake is the ticket. Cake... hmmm, did someone mention (quietly you thought, Randi) Apple Kugel??? Speaking of cakes... let's have apple cake, crab cake, cheese cake, Lady in the Lake cake (Lady does like swimming, right?) By the way Redd, love your outfit. Miss Piggy has one just like it Kermy loves it!

You'll do nothing of the sort! Orc you keep him in that chair and get him a pillow for his foot. I'll get the pig on the table and anything else that needs to be done, nobody let him on his feet.
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire

    Richard,
I'll slap on the seatbelt, the bungy cords, chains, ropes, kids, dog, orc whatever it takes to keep LH from walking on that foot.

And I say Amen, to your comment to Karen and Paul, I couldn't put it any better. Happy Birthday! Pet of the Day!

Richard, shall I refer to YOU as BabyCakes? My little dove As long as we have some piggy I will fry up some scrapple with scrambled eggs, scrambled just so - set but still shiny. Maybe some crispy fried bacon and a side of PANCAKES! With some of Mayor Karen's maple syrup... if it's not too early in the season or she has some in the pantry. MORE COFFEE with a splash of Slicks elixir - aka Slicks Baileys and fresh squooozed OJ (in a separate glass sillies).
