Tiny bubbles ..... Way back when, a LONG time ago, back in the day when I would fly to Hawaii at the drop of a hat (had money back then), I DID get to party with Mr. Ho .... although I don't remember too much about the evening, except flirting with him in his dressing room. Too many tiny bubbles for me that night I think I had fun

Just a spot o' tea for me this afternoon - I have work to do!

Oh great, the bar is open. Don Ho??? I went to Hawaii with my parents in 1971. I was too young to drink and had no one to hang out with. It was the worst vacation of my life. But we did get to see The Don and join in on the sing-along......

    Tiny bubbles
    In the wine......
Da da da da da da da don't know the words

It was suggested by a PT outsider that me and a certain someone should take a trip to Hawaii. Hey, life is short....I think I'll talk to her about it.

Now, can I please have a giant Chi-Chi to go please...and don't forget my little umbrella.

I'd chime in with the military cadence for "tiny bubbles" but the mayor would remove me from the site for it!

    Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
In the wine (in the wine)
Make me happy (make me happy)
Make me feel fine (make me feel fine)

    Tiny bubbles (tiny bubbles)
    Make me warm all over
With a feeling that I'm gonna
Love you till the end of time

So here's to the golden moon
And here's to the silver sea
    And mostly here's a toast
    To you and me

So here's to the ginger lei
    I give to you today
    And here's a kiss
    That will not fade away

Doesn't Mario look cute in the little grass skirt and his ginger lei?

"...Mario in a little grass skirt" OH look at that little monkey go. No, wait.. didn't Howard Cosell get fired for saying that? ahhh, but he was referring to a football player. Mario, don't wear shoulder pads with the grass skirt please. Don't know that I would care for a blue drink but Hawaii puts me in the South Pacific frame of mind so ... badahboom... "Bloody Mary Is The Girl For Me.." Let's keep it one like Slick will appreciate, Bloody with a prawn and some of those nasty olives she likes so much *sorry, but yuk on olives* Hawaiian food... I'll see if I can get inspired here. I love a food challenge

    I'll help you dig...

Again, two strange things that happened to me today..On the way to work this morning I came up upon a truck with live pigs on the Golden State Freeway.

I was in my brother's truck, On the way home I pushed the tape into the deck and "when the levee breaks" was the song that came on...

We can do the cadence as we dig!

    One helping hand? DONE!

    LB,
    one food challenge?
    DONE!

    Redd,

    Tea?
I have never partied with a Ho before!

    DONE!

    Slick.

    A chi chi for you...

More palm trees out that way!

    DONE!

    KK,
A blue Hawaii for you! DONE!

Okey dokey smokey... speaking of smokey, those are some fine coals you guys have going in that fire pit! Let's not do the whole piggy thing, Richard, leave those freeway pigs alone - that's rather ooky looking if you ask me But a nice braised pork roast with cinnamon, clove and toasted corriander sounds nice aaaaand I just happen to have one I've been braising since yesterday. Taro root is a bit hard to find around here but sweet taters (or yams if you wish) make a nice substitute as a side dish. OK, that's for later on - actually have *shudders* work to do this a.m. Good thing I started the food last night. Strong coffee and some fresh melon for breakfast if you please ~ anybody?? Anyone else awake??

I'm awake Laurie (a good thing you mentioned food, I must go and find something in the freezer - right now!)

I'll try any blue drink you can mix for me, but first .... I'll take a cup of coffee.

Starting a new temp job on monday, so I better party while I can.

A big cheers to Slick's good results!!

    **yaaaaaawwwwn** **streeeeetttccchhhhh**

    I'm awake...sort of.....
My body is protesting, my eyes are covered with sleeps and even Max is still in bed. I hate these 6:30 mornings. I have to leave here at 8 for my doc's appointment.

So, how about a Spanish Coffee to start of my day. Now that sounds pretty good. I have not made any Baileys for you in a while so will get to that later today.

**walks away singing** This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home.......

Good morning all, How about a nice warm cup of tea it's a bit chilly here only 47 degrees. I brought some scones and jam for those digging that great pit.
Good luck at the doc's Slick hoping for more good news.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I have a rule I live by. I DO NOT drink
TIDY BOWL drinks. They always look so unappealing.

I asked Richard if he remembered Arthur Godrey and his show from Honolulu.

Richard tried to reassure me that he was far too young to remember him!
Hmmmm, but he remembers Don Ho???? Ho! Ho! HO!

Could I please have a Mai Tai in one of those coconut shells with a big order of onion rings?
