I hope that the shots will help!!
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & ZazouBe happy there at the Rainbow Bridge
Aww Dexter, I really hope they can help you and your sore mouth, who wants to live when you can't stuff your face with your favourite foods!
Nevermind your mum is doing her best to try and cure it and I'm sure in the end they will and you'll be able to munch on whatever you want to again.
Sending lots of hugs and kisses to you to help heal your sore mouth.![]()
Oh Dexter....I have the same thing. Been getting the Depo shots for a year, and slowly things are getting better for me. I've put back on some weight (I was very skinny there for a while) and while I still have stinky mouth sometimes, my vet thinks I will be able to keep my pearly whites. I also "get" to have a lovely tasting anti-biotic along with my shot (10 days I suffer this indignity) called Antirobe. It helps when the red gums get especially tender.
Every session, I can go longer between shots and antibiotics, so I am getting better. Be patient and thank your mom for taking such good care of you.
Get well soon....

My meowmmy hates to see me losing weight because I have always been her big fluffy boy! Now I'm furry with a bony back underneath.
She worries so much about me not eating enough. Then yesterday when she gave me some really yummy wet food, I ate it too fast and "left it" all down the hallway. I sure am glad she saw it and didn't step in it!
