Mostly I have been taken advantage of summer end sales to get things for my new grandson and Jasmine. Bought tons of stuff for him to wear next summer since he won't be getting any hand-me-downs. Jasmine gets things from my great-neice - some have hardly been worn. But Grandma still has to buy for Jasmine - she is just too cute not to.

I bought myself a new pair of purple Nike's. Can't resist that purple!

Poor dogs haven't gotten anything new lately. Except the rawhide that they HAVE to have to keep them busy and out of trouble. - Oh wait, we did by the car harnesses for the Snoopy, Taggert and Pippi - our three can't-sit-still pups. Pippi and Snoopy especially were always trying to jump into the front seat especially as we got close to the dog park. So know they have to wear seat belts. Haven't bought them yet for Dazzi and Jack as they ususally stay where they are.

dogs are compelled to snarl occasionally."

My most recent purchases have been:

♣ 14 plastic totes from the Home Depot (moving sucks!!)
    ♣ A Nikon Coolpix P2 ( http://www.nikon.ca/products/coolpixp2/ )
♣ A bunch of coloured glass (to finish a couple of stained glass projects, the store had a sale... sales=deadly!)
♣ A bunch of wire and jumprings (to finish up some jewellery projects on backorder to some co-workers)
♣ Stuff from Michaels craft store to finish up the cat toys (have about 5 baggies in the freezer full of catnip from the garden!)
♣ Groceries & Pet stuff - Ferret (food, litter and treats), some Dog chews and beggin strips

If anyone knows where the store that sells 'Free Time' is, can you please let me know?

New grandson? Congratulations! I must have missed the thread with that news! I recently bought a really cute baby outfit for my friend's new grandson, little overalls with a lion on the front and a little camouflage t-shirt, very cute! It's been a long time since I got to buy baby-clothes.

Lets see.... this morning I spent $5 on a dozen day-old bagels and cream cheese. That was fun because I haven't splurged on "Take-out" food in a while. That wuill be my breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a few days.

I spent $50 on prescription medicatons yesterday.

$38 on gas to fill my car Saturday

    $100 for groceries. Friday

Fun purchases? I fogret what a fun purchase is. I'm too focused on purchases that help us survive.

Oh, speaking of survival, I spent $3 on baby pacifiers 2 weeks ago... thats life saving because otherwise everyone here would be killing themselves rather than listening to a baby scream for hours on end. He's screaming right now and keeps spitting the $*!# pacifier out.

I'm so used to that feeling. It was nice to splurge, especially since I bought something for myself. I NEVER buy anything for myself and I finally spent money on a new purse. Everything's always for the dogs...

I got a 50 cent raise a month or so ago so it's about time I congratulated myself.

    Today I bought the dogs:
    Green Beef Tripe
    Salmon Skin treats

And I bought some more cough drops for my beautiful cold.

When I was down South visiting a few weeks ago, I went on a major shopping spree. I had to mail a box to myself as I couldn't fit everything in my suitcase!

I bought tons of clothes at Old Navy, including this shirt in several colors:
    http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/produc...441&pid=385306
Got a skirt, a sweater and a denim blazer too.

Bought a bunch of critter stuff including food for the cats, toys for the dogs, some treats and 3 new stuffies for Earle.

Bought some base layer clothes as Helly Hansen. I love that stuff! Up here, it is impossible to have too much winter gear! Plus the t-shirts came stuffed in a water bottle!

I also bought beads, a truly insane amount of beads. I won't post how much I spent on those and I haven't even mentioned the cost to Stuart! My hands will be busy all winter making jewellery. I need to sell some stuff to justify the amount I spent!

My Mom bought me a pair of Crocs. Can't get them up here. And my Dad gave me some cash which came with instructions that it was not to spent on the critters. Since Stuart hasn't been hunting yet and we are almost out of meat, I spent Dad's money stocking the freezer. That was fun! It's always more fun when you don't have to worry about the cost!

I only get to go shopping once a year or so when I go visit my family so I take full advantage and save up for months beforehand!
