Well, if they didn't give you the results by the end of the day, you must have gotten a good grade?

    Seriously, you're in our prayers.

Slick - hang in there, girlie. The waiting is the WORST part. Prayers going up north for an easier, softer day.

I hope you can get some sleep tonight. Maybe you can get some little blue pills to help you sleep. Waiting is enough to drive you crazy. maybe no news is good news. Fingers crossed. Sending more hugs..hope I haven't strangled you yet!

Slick, this has brought tears to my eyes. You are going into this with an awesome attitude, and with so much courage. You are really and insperation. You WILL get through this! You have PT prayers, and support all over. You have your lovely little furbabes too!!! Just think of how happy they'll be to have you back home when you are away for a while.

You are going to be in my thoughts and prayers Slick. I am so glad that you are hitting this hard, and thank the Lord for the miracle of the doctor catching that shadow. The Lord is with you, and so is everyone here. (((((HUGS)))))

Poping in to see how things are moving along. The minor meltdown is just your minds way of dealing with it all, not to worry. I had many of them in the 3 months it took earlier this year to determine that my breast lump was not cancer but almost so it had to come out. A good shot of Baileys on ice every once in a while got me thru. My Trouble ferret angel tells me he is keeping a close eye on you as his mommie had requested (such a good fur-ball). Sending you all the positive vibes I can dear. Take care, be positive.

    Scared....

I just got a call and I have to meet with the surgeon again on Thursday at 9:15am. I didn't get much info from the assistant. She just said that the PET scan shows no uptake...whatever that means and she didn't know either. She also said he wants a biopsy. On what?? I don't know. He's in surgery right now but should be back in the office by 4:30...then he has a meeting. She will leave him a message to call me after his meeting.

At this point, I don't know what to think...but I'm trying not to think of the worst.

No uptake actually sounds promising to me, like no spreading. I am praying for you.

Think positive! Breath deeply and wait to hear what the doc says! It is not necessarily bad news!

    Loads of hugs!

OK, stop playing with my emotions......LOL

She just called again and apologized but she had about 6 PET scans on her desk. She did confirm that the surgery was a "go ahead" but he still wants to meet with me to discuss things. This conversation had no mention of biopsy. Dr. Yee will be calling me before I go home tonight.

My stomach is in knots and right now I'm starting to feel sick. Who wants to come and visit me? I'm shaking like a leaf....and that's no pun about Gini's tree. Speaking of which, she needs to post some pictures of that "trimmed tree".

I would love to come and visit you right now, but sadly it would be quite a while before I actually reached you! You would be asleep!

Glad you will definitely get to speak to the doctor today.
