most adorable dog on the earth with invisible tail (wagging hard!) second one is cute but a bit dark, so I voted for number one.

I think 600x800 should be okay... for the month kay put in two-three doggies over one big background, maybe??

And I'm probaly going to use the second one as its easier to get the exact size I need I'll lighten up too.
