I don't know what Bailey had for breakfast since hubby fed him really early. For dinner, he had...

    2 Turkey Wings
    1 Quail
    3 Duck Feet
    1 Egg
    Sweet Potato

Bailey puked up his Quail at about 1:00 in the morning - it was the mast horrible smell EVER! Everything else stayed down but a couple pieces of sweet potato. Maybe the Quail was too rich? Or because it was a new meat that he hasn't had before? I don't know whether I should give him his other Quail. Anyone have any ideas as to why he would puke out the Quail?

pork hocks, beef kidney, meatballs, oatmeal, bok choy, gala apple
I really didn't know what to do with the pork hocks so i just chopped a little off the end of one and chopped up some beef kidney to go with it. She seemed to like it.

On the 25th everyone had a pig foot and Buck also had a lamb shank.

Yesterday everyone had beef brisket, and Buck also had a chicken quarter.

Today the girls had chicken liver, beef chunks, and canned mackeral. Mandy had three chicken feet and Nova and Luka had two.

Buck was having runny stool so I gave him a turkey neck and five chicken feet to try to firm him up some.

Yesterday the pups had rabbit and lamb for breakfast. I bought sirloin steak for myself for dinner but bought too much, so the pups had that for dinner. BOY they inhaled it fast!

Today they're getting buffalo and organs for breakfast, and tripe and meaty chicken bones for dinner.

Jasper had a beef rib for breakfast, along with pureed banana, squash, romaine lettuce, yogurt, and a splash of flax oil. When he pooped I realized that he's had too much bone recently (Hard "chalky" stools) so dinner is a boneless chicken breast and a little more squash.

Today they just had some TWO. Lazy day for me.

I bought a can of http://www.tripett.com/ - has anyone fed this? I'm unlucky in my search to find and actual butcher that would sell that type of stuff.

Kai had a can of that stuff a few years back when we got a sample. He inhaled it! It's nice and stinky for the dogs.. but costs a buttload!

Unless they've changed what they put into it, I think it's just tripe. Do you know if any of the natural/holistic animal supply stores sell premade raw? A majority of the premade raw companies here sell tripe. Keep searching for raw co-ops, butchers or wholesalers though. Around here a can of that stuff is around $2-3.. but the local supplier sells it for .78 cents a pound!

Well it's cooked. I personally would not feed it because of that (along with the price). And I'm not too sure how I feel about the vegetable gum. I think if it didn't have the gum, I might be inclined to get it as a treat (if I couldn't find the real thing).

Green tripe is not neccessary. It is a good addition to the diet, and dogs love the smell (it makes me gag like crazy though) and taste. I wouldn't fret over it if you can't find it.

I buy mine from a supplier in Kentucky. She ships to the eastern US. If you're interested, then join her Yahoo! group and ask her to be placed on the waiting list. Prey4Pets

You can also buy it from GreenTripe.com. I know a lot of people get it from there and I considered it, but I decided against it because they are in California and the shipping would be too high.
