Dear Edd, wherever you are!!! I know that at this very moment you are splashing and swimming about in a warm, murky pond, living a very happy turtle life. I know too that you look back with much love on the life that you shared with your human! I understand that you were very loved and are greatly missed! What fun those Leggo trailer rides must have been! It was an honor and privilege to meet you Edd. Dear human of Edd. What a selfless decision you made, returning Edd to the wilds. I am sure you miss him dearly. But I am also certain that the love, caring and kindness you shared with him will never be forgotten. As a child I "rescued" two box turtles from the wild. Their names were Lou Lou and Pinkie. But after a while our family decided that while they loved their great human adventure, they really missed their turtle pals. And so one sad but happy day, we gave them back to the land. We were always grateful to them for sharing their lives and love with us, if only for a little while. Thanks so much for sharing your sweet story with us all. Now the world knows about the greatly loved and much missed, beautiful turtle named Edd!
