thank you Vela. We have decided that is what we are going to do. Either we go with him or we don't go at all. I emailed my brother to ask if it really was a problem or if it was just his mom being herself. I haven't heard back from him yet but I imagine he won't have a problem with it.

I think you should just stick with orginal plans. You shouldn't alter your plans to please others. Like Vela said. I'd just bring Teddy....He was suppouse to go in the first place so he should get to go. As long as you keep a close eye on Teddy I'm sure they'll be fine. If they have met him before then i'm sure they'll be less scared of him.

Boy!! Can I ever relate to this. This is how my family handles everything. I plan and plan and make sure everything is right. At the last moment, they always throw a loop in every plan there is. Have a wonderful vacation with Teddy along!!
