    Shooting At Crayola's Park!

yikes .. just about we left there - a friend of mine sent me this news .. (happened the day after we flew back to new york after going fort funston [doggy park in california] for ten days straight) - so strange and scary to hear this news. we always went there (when we lived in california) since I first got crayola (was two years) after/before my work which's only five minutes away! (SF ZOO)..

    August 21st Shooting ..

I couldn't believe it happened at THAT park! this shooter killed himself too, had problems with himself so hope it'll be the first and last one! I can't imagine if everyone is gone now...afraid going there again. it was the best, best community park ever seen.

    a doggy-family park, really...crayola & I already missed being there.

    sigh.

Yikes! Well, there's no cause to be afraid of the park, next time you're out that way, as the shooter took himself out, too.

Glad you and Crayola were not there that day!

Yikes is right. Maybe he wanted to have a shootout if he had two guns. I wonder if the victims survived.

just checked out for an update .. three more links I found. one of two victims may not make it.

Fort Funston gunman was bankrupt, evicted - One victim fights for life; other's injuries not life threatening

Injured hang-gliding pilots' friends post updates on club site

'Half-bird' man of Fort Funston -- shooting victim called gifted flier

the gliding/landing area is just right by the parking lot of the dog park. the pink glider you see in background, I've seen it almost everytime I was there!

all of this is so strange to think - I'm keeping them in my thoughts and heart!
