He's never been a lap cat unless he's afraid of some one or something or when he knows I need comforting like I did after my Pepper passed away. He prefers to sit on the floor next to me like a dog or sit in between my legs and put his chin on my leg. He'll also cuddle with me when I'm in bed but only on his terms. He hates to be picked up and will squirm. He loves to get butt rubs and butt spankings though. We have a very strong bond and he always knows when I'm not feeling well and he'll try to comfort me.
