I do not have them isolated...not enough space. They are, however, in one cage together with no other cats. I do not have an medication here, I never had a cat that was coughing like this before. It is kind of worring me a bit. I do not have a vaporizor...where would I get one? I am worried that all the kittens are going to be sick, including my other rescues and my own four pet cats. The lady that came by today was just looking in general. She saw my website and wanted two female cats. She took my two one year old gals. They have been together for a while and are familar with each other.

I lost a baby today. One of my five week old rescues passed away. She was fine yesterday, woke up today and she was way past gone. Very sad. It has been a rough day. Thanks for listening to my complaints.

We've thrown you into a bad situation. Can the sick cats be put in their cage into your bathroom? Once you have one cat with cat flu in a kennel, the chances are high that most will get it. They have been through a lot of stress and are still in a stressful situation which makes them more vulnerable. And the shelter you got the recent rescues from didn't do anything to check or treat any illnesses. You don't have any choice, at least I don't think so, but to take those sick cats to the vet tomorrow even though it will use up the funds you are saving for their spay/neuter and testing.

You can get a humidifier from any drug store for about $30 w/tax - another cost for you, I'm sorry. But that will work best if the cats are in a small room. It might be cheaper, I've done it myself, to have them in your bathroom and run the shower. Do you have a thermometer? Have you taken their temps? Do you know any other rescues nearby that will give you Amoxi or similar?

How very sad that you lost one of your kitten rescues. It must have been distressing to find her. Kittens are both very strong and very vulnerable, just like human babies. This forum is here to listen to you when you want to talk about all the problems you are facing, and both the successes and losses.

Well, I have a lot to do tomorrow...LOL!! I am not angry about the kittens or them being sick, just a bit frustrated. I am just worried that I am going to have problems affording it. I can not take money from my bills and family...I have to use other methods. I will figure it out. I always have. There are no rescues near by except animal welfare and that is our vet. Rescues are far and few everywhere!! I sent my fiance to pick up a vaporizor and vicks...we will start there. I will call the vet in the morning.

I feel so bad about the baby too. The momma is so worried about getting out of her cage and she has been neglecting them. I picked up some kitten formula and I am going to see if I can save the other four. Thank you for listening. The forum is great.
