Thank you all so very much. I got to spend about 30 min.
with Buddy this morning before he went to Rainbow Bridge.
The vet brought Bud into one of the exam rooms & spread
out a carpet for Bud to lay on .They gave me a small bag of
Alpo treats to feed to him as we visited. I hugged him lots
and kissed his sweet face over and over. I told Bud that he
had a whole bunch of people who wished him well & wanted
to say goodbye to him. After awhile the Doc & vet tech came
in and we all sat on the floor with Buddy.I held his head and
kissed his face as Doc gave him the injection to send him on
his journey to the Bridge. He died very peacefully.Bud just
laid his face down on his paw and passed on. My house is a
very lonely place without him. I am having a private cremation
done, with Bud's ashes returned to me.I will bury him in the
back yard in his favorite resting spot. Liz & Buddy.
