I know how it feels .. I only just lost my beloved cat Sydney one week ago .. It feels as if a truck ran over your heart and stomach ; everything is acking so much ...!
Please dear Liz , accept my sincere condolances !! I want to give you the same advise as al these dear Pettalkers gave me :

try to remember all the nice things you did with Buddy , all the sweet moments you had together !!! Buddy is playing at the Rainbow Bridge now , maybe he met my Sydney already !!!
You have given him a wonderful life and you did everything you could to save his life !!!
Please do not feel guilthy because you decided to let him go !! This was the most beautiful thing you could do for your darling !!!

Be brave now dear Liz !! We , Pettalkers , will get you through this ordeal !!!
