I'd only will check if I am required to by law. As a computer tech, I've been exposed to situations where people were orderd to check a clients email by a court, but it involved child pornography and other very very illigal things. If there isn't a legal reason for me to be checking though, I leave it alone. Like some have said, I have too much to do to be worrying about peoples email!
