Is she spayed? You need to think about it. She'll start going into heat if you don't, and she's at risk for cervical, ovarian, breast cancer. She's also getting to know you. Sit on the floor, her level, and throw her treats. Don't go pulling her out of where she is. She needs to have a "safe" area. Eventually she'll come out on her own.
Softly talk to her and slowly blink your eyes at her. Eventually, she'll do it back, which is a sign that she's starting to trust you more.
She'll come around. It may take a while, but you'd be surprized how loving they become once they know you and get into a routine.
