Looking at the results of their last town election, there were 221 voters. Not exactly a metropolis. The ACO is probably more concerned with their primary job, not coming otu to pick up an odd carcass. Wildlife officers in that neck of the woods normally have their hands full dealing with poachers (DO NOT run from a Maine game warden, you'll probably get shot).
