Thankfully I was never called stupid or dumb. My folks helped me, knowing something was wrong but back in the day, there wasn't a name for it. Having my wires crossed really messed up my SAT score.
Well, I'm not quite that bad, but I do mix up or read numbers backwards a lot without realizing it.
