well, actually I work for a market research firm and we must have better lobbyists because yes, its true, the "do not call" rules don't apply to us.

its actually kind of interesting how political ads can be formulated based on the answers to the polls - but that's a topic for a different thread -

as for pet peeves - I can't think of a saying right now but I do have an office peeve -

I get really annoyed when someone opens a new ream of paper to fill the printer, but just tears it open half-way instead of removing the entire wrapper.
