I got the Wacom Intuos 3 6x8 one, and you can get it on Ebay brand new for around $258.
I'd definately reccomment Wacom though ^^

So how does it work?? Do you hook it up to your computer? Of can it be portable just to play around on? I kinda want something like that for Christmas, but I want to learn more about it...![]()

Sure it can wait. I am honored that you are willing to do that for me. Thank you.

Congratulations! I've been using a Wacom Intuitos tablet for 4 years now. Wacom is definitely the way to go. I started out buying a cheaper tablet, but within a couple months it wasn't working right. Now nothing could drag me away from my Wacom tablet! I rarely use a standard mouse anymore -they seem archaic.
Yup, theres a cord that plugs into your USB port ^^Originally Posted by joanofark
You can do more than just draw with it; anything you can do with a mouse, you can do with a tablet pen, it's just much much easier ^^ They come in different sizes, I believe the smallest Wacom you can get is a 5x7 one. The largest is 12x12, but it's well over $1000, lol. I have the 6x8 and it works great. Fits right in my lap so I can relax while drawing ^^
The hardest thing to get used to (for me) is that you have to learn to look at the computer moniter while you're drawing, not the tablet itself. Other than that, it's awesome.
EDIT; here's the sketch for "Reach Out Rescue." Not done yet, (obviously) but I'll hopefully get it finished soon ^^
