    If it were something contagious, it could make a difference; the difference between one sick cat and two sick cats. I wouldn't want to clean up after one, and two would be twice as bad if there's vomit and feces everywhere with just the one. Did you ask the vet if it was something the other cat could catch from coming in contact with all this 'icky'? I would keep a very close eye on the other cat to catch any symptoms of infection early on so it doesn't go untreated too long.

    It's probably like a family when a kid brings home an infection from school; sometimes the other family members will catch it, and sometimes they won't, depending on what type of bacteria/virus it is.

    Welcome to PT. I hope that your kitten will feel better soon. I'm glad that you took her to the vet. Please continue to keep us updated about her.

    We'd also love to see some pictures of both of your furkids.
