Thanks guys!
Riptide, I love the colors of the barndoor one, too!
Wow! Awesome photos everyone.
I tried to get a few action pictures when we went to see the Cincinnati Reds play yesterday. I'm terrible at this photography stuff. What settings do you use when you are trying to capture some action shots? I had mine on the P setting with the iso at 400. The pictures come out grainy though. Help!

I'm also curious how much touching up you guys do with your photo programs. I don't really have any good programs for that sort of thing and have no idea how to do such a thing.
A few flower pics that I took at the zoo:

You don't think I went to the zoo and didn't take pictures of the animals, do you?
HERE they are. Make sure you check out the video and watch the big kitty playing with his toy.
THE ST LOUIS CARDINALS!! Pujols is my favorite player! I have his jersey! Hehe who won btw??Originally Posted by RobiLee
Anyway to answer your question, lower your ISO. The higher your ISO is, the granier the pictures will be. The lower the ISO, the less light will be let in but the crisper and less grainy the photos will be. So a lower ISO is better especially for action shots.
And I do absolutely no touching up on my photos in a photo editing program. If I do, then it is only to mess with the lighting or contrast.
