I am lucky enough to have gp woth’ed in Machu Picchu three years ago, and while there we received a lecture from our guide, a native Quechuan, about how we always had to be careful to call it Machu Picchu (pronounced peek-choo, meaning old man, after the peak beside it) and not the frequently used Machu Pichu (pronounced peach-oo, meaning old pianist!)![]()
We were lectured at some length! I have been very careful ever since.![]()
I want to do everything already mentioned!
