My first dachshund Amy, I'm not sure of the year she left me but it was when I was younger, but not extrememly young, I think I was over 10 but not quite teens, I wish I had kept up with dates and took more pictures when I was younger.

I lightened the picture up a lot because it was way too dark so the colors aren't quite her but you can at least see her. My dad got her for me when I was a little girl. I loved her to death! I still miss her a lot. The ground was all yucky then, holes from little digging doggies everywhere, I remember how the dogs loved to tear up dad's paper plates, haha.

and though he wasn't mine, my dad's dog Bubba, I had to make the hardest decision of my life to put him down that day, July 13th. I still feel so bad, I miss him a lot even though he wasn't really mine, he was a wonderful dog, just plain sweet and so good. Handsome too, my daddy loved this dog. I grew up with him through my teens, he was the grand-dog of Amy. He was in the car accident with my dad and broke his back. It hurts so much to think about him and my daddy still.
