Ocean has an appointment with my normal vet tomorrow. i hope he tells me something better.

So glad you're getting the 2nd opinion on this.Have you gotten them to
spell out to you the name of his illness? At least you will know what you're
dealing with here.

Did you get any more info from the first vet? Like the name of the disease/cancer, location of it, why they felt it was life threatening, etc...?

What type of tests did your regular vet do this morning? Did they say anything about what your other vet said it was?

I am also very sorry. Make sure you get a second opinion. Read up on the disease on the net. Talk to a Hemopathy Vet. Dont give up just yet. Prayers are with you and Ocean.
