Sorry to say but Buddy is acting no better at all this
morning. If anything, he's worse. He cannot support
any weight on either back leg. Last night he at least
was able to hobble on three legs with me holding him
in the towel sling. The vet does not have Weds. hours.
One vet tech is in the office until 11:00am & I've talked
with her this morning.I have plenty of various pain & anti
inflamatory RX's here & they have told me how much to
give him.A neighbor down the street has the day off & has
agreed to come over to help me take him out to pee, etc.
The vet tech said since she is by herself in the office she can't
come today, but will come over tomorrow morning to help
get Buddy into the car for what will probably be his last vet
visit. Since he cannot use either of his rear legs, it does not
look good at all. He will not be considered a good candidate
for additional surgery on the right leg. Will wait & see what
Bud acts like later today, but I am without hope that he can
come back from this one. I will not let him linger on and suffer
any more. If he doesn't at least make an effort to use one
of his back legs today, his life with me is done.He cried so much
last night, that high pitched Shepherd whine, it almost broke
my heart. He's had more medicine this morning & is resting now.
Thank you all for your prayers. Liz & Buddy.
