She is SUCH a sweety - and you say she just charmed everyone at the vet place when she was getting her heart scans and stuff...so I am surprised she was nawtee at the doctor's office!

I'm newer here, so I'm not sure of protocol, but here's what our vet told us with our Bushes. She was peeing all over the place and had to have Clavamox on a regular basis to keep away the infections.
The high protein levels could be because her kidneys just aren't processing the protein her diet well enough. This can be the very first stages of kidney disease. Don't panic though! They have many k/d foods out there that can provide a lower protein level, but still keep your lovely kitty healthy.
Also, have you checked with your vet to try a liquid form of her meds? Bushes got liquid Clavamox and seemed to like that better -a syringe of liquid in her mouth worked better for us. Also, Petsmart here in the states sells a "pill giver" that is a syringe with two fingers on the end, pull water up into the syringe, stick the pill in the fingers and you're good to go. That helped with Bushes toward the end. I didn't get scratched nearly as much.

You have NO idea how difficult it is to open Snoopy's mouth . She is so strong.... ! That pill-shooter is also not working for her, we tried it out, but no use.... . Mixing the crushed pill with her food?? No way, smarty-pants Snoopy refuses to eat it
The ONLY way to pill that sweety, is wrapping her head over heels in a huge bath-towel, only her head peeking out; even then it is not easy to squeeze her mouth open and get in that pill ; very often she just spitts the pill on the floor before I can make her swallow it....

My vet phoned me to tell me the results of Snoopy's bloodtest!

Nothing wrong with her kidneys!!
Nothing wrong with her blood!!!

GREAT news he!!!

Now I will have to find out WHY she is doing this, as it is obviously a behaviour problem..... . Any ideas??
