Well I'm glad I'm camping out in Yosemite, because I have heard it's raining at home!!! My garden desperately needs it, just don't let me be there! Good job there is plenty of food around, all this fresh air certainly gives you an appetite!

Guess what KK! I just snagged some fresh Eastern Shore sweet white corn!! Let's go stash it in the creek husks on, then throw it against the coals later .. That will certainly go well with the rest of the stuff. Well, not so well with pancakes and breakfast but it is getting on afternoon here and even later in the day for you! mmmmm

Quite right, Laurie! I don't want a breakfast at dinner time! That corn sounds wonderful!

So David, enlighten a poor foreigner - does this type of corn differ from your average corn?

    Hi everyone.....

I got stiuck on the side of Half Dome....the rangers had to come and pluck me off the face....Nothing like a cute Ranger coming to my rescue.....Talk about a woman in uniform....But I digress....

Mario made it up, no problem.....He laughed and laughed until he saw me crying and then he came back down, took the note I wrote on the granola
    wrapper and went for help......

Thank god he has the same good taste in Rangers that I have...

Let.s cook up some lunch....Trout, Taters or corn....a likke salad and a drink to settle my nerves...

(Oh and some talcum powder for my chafing....those climbing harnesses rub me the wrong way.)

Karen, Instead of having yellow kernels like regular corn, the kernels are white and taste twice as sweet as the yellow variety. I may buy some at the supermarket tomorrow. It's SO tasty!!

Hey Laurie, LH just checked in from Indiana on his way to OK and said find some seaweed to put on top of that corn and throw some clams and lobster and crab in there and let it cook!
