I have read your thread about your dear Penny so many times, hoping that there was an absolute diagnosis found.

The picture you posted of her was so worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!

I am so hopeful that she will be well again!!!

Your feelings are recognized by me , and I am sending heartfelt prayers for Dear Penny to feel better.

I am sorry that are striving for an answer as I type!!!

I will keep coming back for more up dates.

Thankyou for all the lovely thoughts and prayers everyone {{Hugs}}, they mean so much to us.

Update for today (28th of July).....

Test results came back today and Penny's white blood cell count is pretty high, the vets think she is trying to figh an infection. Our poor little dog has lost some movement in her hind left leg aswell, which is a big worry.

Penny has been going in for anti biotic shots the last couple of days, but if there is no improvement by tomorrow they are going to keep her in overnight for IV fluids and more tests .

Xrays and ultrasounds are going to be requested tomorrow if she does not pick up.

Thankyou all once again for the support.

We are off to the vets in about 10 minuted for the little ones shots. Penny seems a bit better today and we have been getting as much fluids into her as possible.. she also had a pick at some dry food/ kibble without hooman prompting this afternoon and was able to crunch it up.

It looks like Spring is on the way and it has been sunny and warmer the last couple of days, we spent a good hour outside this afternoon sitting in the sun, Penny loved it and had her little head up towards the sun.

Will update when we get back....

    Update (29th July)...

Good news everyone, Penny has improved over the last 12 hours or so and the vet was quite happy for her to spend the weekend at home and vet free (Unless something else happens), IV fluids were not needed as we got quite abit into her over tha last 24 hours .

Pen will be on oral anti biotics for the next 5 days and then back for another check up and blood test after that. But for now it looks as though our little dog is going to survive. Thankyou so much for all the thoughts and prayers... PT prayers realy do help.
