HAH! Just hung up the phone from speaking with Cap't Finn, Gini, Richard, Julie, Byron, Aaron (had to wait a few minutes for Karen, Zip and "the gurls" because they were out getting their nails done?? ). And everyone else. Cap't said he remembered me from last year and I don't even care if it's true... It's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Oh how I wish I were there in real life instead of phone life. But HEY! What phun! Big rain storm starting now in DC so best get off the 'puter. MORE PICTURES. Help us out here!!!

Have phun everyone. I'm heading back to bed.

    Talking BBQ Report ...

    10:30 pm Eastern = 7:30 pm California Time ...

    And the BBQ Rages On!!

I finally got through on Staci's cell dinger - after "Mom" gave up
    and answered it.

Been on for at least an hour; and think I got passed around to most every
    Family represented at the BBQ.

QUITE the Crowd - and judging from the "background level" - a GREAT TYME
is being had by One and ALL!

Nice chat with the Head BarKeep from Thursdays - reporting
all was well and all souls were responding with proper attitudes =
    EBBERBUDDIE HAPPIE!!

We need to send the PhotoJournalists over to Station 29 for some snappies
of "Wilshire" - the new Station 29 Fire Mascot.
He's apparently not allowed on ride-alongs yet - since the Engine 29 Crew came
without him today - but he's becoming famous with a bit of a Tail that Pet Talkers
    might appreciate.

Now ... since the Three GeoMutts an da Bus Driver are **BUSHED** from a long
afternoon of GeoCaching in the Cleveland MertoParks Hinckley Reservation ...
wer're gonna jump in the BigBed (as soon as I wake the Mutts UP)
    and catch zome needed Zzzzzz's.

    Nite All!!

I'm glad that everyone is having a great time but where are the pictures? I need to see just how much of a good time that everyone is having. It's been very hot here and is still about 100 degrees in the shade and about 90 degrees in my condo. Even though I don't drink any more, I sure could use a nice cold slushie right now.

Now that I'm home and have had time to rethink this conversation with the fireman - I recall him saying that several dog trainers have been to work with Wilshire annnddd even

    CESAR MILAN!!
    He's been filmed there!
They have only Wilshire for about 2 months now so it might be next season before it is even aired. But wouldn't THAT be cool to see!

Staci, because I wasn't the one drooling all over Capt. Finn's leg - we talked a bit more about Wilshire.

He told me that the show with Cesar Milan is to air in January.

Of course with their truck sitting in the street everyone driving by assumed the LAFD was here on business. Who'd suspect it was a social call?

What's going on? You must be up now! Had I been there, I would have made breakfast for you.

Are you all busy on the phone? What did Richard's haircut end up like? Has he gone to Hollywood to get a part in a film?

We're waiting for pictures and stories!

sigh - its just not fair - the day once again seemed to fly by in an instant. So much fun, so little time. Gini and Richard are taking Mary to the airport right now. I'm at Gini's house with Byron and Staci and Tonya. We came by to help clean up but the place is looking pretty good so far so we'll just eat more of Gini's food.

We're leaving for home later this afternoon. It was great seeing everyone. There's just nothing better than a PT meeting.

These are not the droids you were looking for
