So YOU'RE the one talking to my mom when I was trying to call her, huh? Its OK, you're worth sharing her with! ((((Hugs))))

I too just got off the phone with Gini and Mary. Its so great the Mary is out here and she had a safe, uneventful flight! She didn't have to WAIT for Gini, isn't that great!?!? And we'll have all the way till Sunday to catch up...last year she had to leave too quickly for our liking.

Know what they were doing??? Making Bailey's!!! haha

Well, Staci's in the air RIGHT NOW!! YIPPEE!!! I left her a message on her cell, she's going to get a kick out of me. I'm so excited she's going to be here.

THEN, Tonya's coming too!!! Tomorrow!!! YIPPEE x 2!!

THEN, Karen/Aaron will be here Friday too!!!! YIPPEE again!!

Do we need another Kountdown?? Yes....only 2, count 'em, TWO DAYS LEFT!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

OK, beat me with a wet noodle, but I've GOTTA say sumpin ...

Have you changed /picked a different "special" color for your posts lately???

    I always have some "trouble" with a few of the colors;
but I never had to just give up trying to read yours till lately ...

    Remember - I'm red/green COLOR BLIND ...
and have NO idea what your current color is called ...
but it's Soooooo FAINT (light) and so close to the white background ...
I really can't read most of it.

Any Chance you could select a slightly DARKER hue of this color?

YOU don't do it, but someone else likes to use YELLOW ...
now talk about Invisible Ink ....

I really don't want to miss any of your BBQ Bulletins!

Thanks for saying something. I'm not color blind; just good-old-fashioned OLD eyes. I can't see the soft pink at all either. and don't want to miss ANYTHING from this weekend! Wish I could be there, but my wallet can't take another hit.

EDIT: Ooh! I just discovered a trick! If you highlight Kelly's message it will show up bold black and very readable!

Well, don't THAT beat it all wiffa stick!

That "sorta" works for me ...
If I *mouse-over* like I was going to copy her text -
it DOES become bold - but sure not "black".
The color DOES "darken" - so it shows up better against the background ...
but I STILL have to "strain" to read it.

    Could I suggest a BLUE ...
or we have some lovely shades of PURPLE ...

She's HERE, She's HERE!!!! Staci texted me at 7:59 (CA time) saying they'e waiting for her bags and that they (airplane/captain) had made good time! They sure did!

Welcome to Callie again, Stace! I can't wait to give you a HUGE hug, darling!!

    Love you!

Sorry guys, I didn't even think about the pink being so light! I'll change it all to teal.

    Question

    Meanwhile ...

    back at LAX ...

The Flight Tracker site said they landed at 10:35 PM Eastern time ...

Hopefully they found an empty gate to park da Bus at
and everybody's OFF the plane by now.
We'll hope most of Staci's LUGGAGE hopped on the same flight she did - and that they've "found" it by now.

No Answer on her cell dinger ... wonder if they're into the BOOZE already?

Same here. I just figured it was so LOUD at LAX, she cannot hear the phone ringing, maybe?

I left her a mushy message and texted her back. Hopefully she'll see us soon!

Well this year my flight here was about 4 1/2 hours - non stop. No bugs this time. But I leave tomorrow nite so we'll see about on the way home.

I had this great post last nite but it wouldn't "take".
I'll repeat the first part of it tho b/c it was too cute.

T'was 8:00pm the nite after the PetTalk BBQ and not a creature was stirring except a New Mexican and Ohioan.
Gini and Kelly were taking naps and that left Tonya and I to amuse ourselves.
Soon after 830 tho Gini got up and Kelly woke up and we went out to a fabulous dinner at Maggiano's.
    Today is shopping

It is a sad day - in less than 25 minutes we will be leaving for the airport to drop off Tonya.

Staci, Kelly and Tonya have been staying here - and it has been so much fun having my "girls" with me.

Rascal won't leave them alone!! Annie got into the act and Staci said that she was able to touch Emma's tail.........WOW!

But I don't WANT it to be over!!!

Its almost time for the worst part of the BBQ...the ending.

We still have many more hours with Stace, Gini and I (Kelly)...they're "resting their eyes" and I believe Tonya will be taking off in about 15 minutes...I'm just catching up here.

Its been SO GREAT having everyone out here and spending time together. While we missed those that aren't able to be here, you're all here in spirit. It was great talking to those that called us on the phone!!

Hmm..usually its ME sleeping late or napping...ha ha.

After mom and Stace awake, we're going to Shutters, a gorgeous restaurant in Venice/Santa Monica, so Stace can see/touch the ocean...she hasn't seen that yet.

OK, off to check on the orangies and the porch kitties! They're sooo cute! Rascal has been the PUURRRRFECT host! He's such a love and just jumps right up on your lap when he feels he needs to...so cute!

    Hugs, Kelly
