    Cute pics, I wanted a pekin duck so bad, they don't live long thoguh! Very good pics, specially being in a barn!!

    Aww he looks so scared!!!
    They shouldnt be bringing babys out for that long with people poking at them
    I bet they didnt even have hay or a blanket so they could get off that wire

    The pictures are cute though.

    I heard pekins can live for around 20 or more years

    I was planing on getting one when we move.

    In my duck book they said pekin ducks only live about 6 months, becuase they are a meat duck and their lifespan hasn't been increased. There is no breed of ducks that live up to 20 years, more like 4 or 5 years. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have ducks and have done a lot of reserch

    i heard that Pekin ducks only live about 6mo to a year as well. my cousin had 2 that lived about 10 months.
    Owned by two little pastries!

    Ok I got my info on those ducks lol.

    Well its true they have a short life span But....

    If you get them from a breeder that sells them as pets they can live to there teens for about 6 to 8 years old.

    A goose however is a better choice they can live up to 20.

    Ok sorry I was wrong but at least now I know to get a goose lol.

    Ehh, careful goose can be VERY mean. Never met a nice goose as a pet. No matter how you raise them.

    Realy? I have never met a mean goose before lol except when they bit my fingers for the food and if they have babies.

    Hopefuly I can put some love into a goose If I get one lol.
