This is me Jasmine, writing under MeMaw's name. I remember those days like it was just last year -

They got me so bundled up I hardly fit in my stroller!

Aunt Amy, why am I so bundled up when you don't even have your coat zipped or a hat one?

Jasmine you are so cute!!! I feel your pain about being bundled up to your eyeballs though!

I am so jealous of those of you who had a hat with pom poms!!! I would have loved one of those!!! Here is what I got stuck with:

The weather didn't even have to be cold!
The fact that my brother looked like a dork too, was not much comfort!!!

WHERE DID MOM FIND THOSE HATS????

They kept appearing over the years in different colors but with the same icky brim!!!

Another one of my "fashion statements" was the suspenders!!!
HAVE MERCY!!!

Actually, I did rather like my hat with the pom-poms at the time. It was "the latest thing"! It's only with hindsight that I think of it as dodgy.

BUT ... MOFF ... that is some hat!!!

Yes, those suspenders!!! Sometimes they would end up in the toilet bowl if you un buttoned them to do your duty!!!!

I wonder what it was about our mothers and their hat fettish. Remember when you were a kid and attending a wedding? All the women wore hats!!!!! and white gloves as well.

Must be hats were a statement to them, as in, look at my little girl, she is taken care of, you can see by the HAT she is wearing.

Personally, I think you and your brother are purely adorable.

What is he holding up in the picture, it looks like a tea bag!!!

It was a tiny bottle of something. Back then he was an aspiring evil scientist. Luckily, he grew out of that phase!!!

Heehee! I can't scan pictures: no scanner!

I've just been taking pictures of my pictures with my digi cam!
They aren't the best in the world but you can see them good enough to get the idea. The pictures aren't that great in the first place - really old b&w camera operated by a giggling mother most of the time!!!

wow, I never realized I could take a "picture" of a "picture " using my digital camera!!! I didn't know that is how you did that!!!
