Being a cat I
Should have a tendancy to
stay out of the snow

But I can't help but
Run out and glomp any stray grass
poking through the white

Sometimes I don't mind
That my paws get wet for my
Pet has towels ready

Clover did that so many times when I let her sit on my lap secretly at our apartment. She even laid down on them, much to my annoyance and my friend's, who I was chatting with via Yahoo.
