Somehow, those birds just know how to fluff up, pull those eggs underneath them, and cover them all, MOFF. They just know. It is amazing.

No babies, but they are still sitting. I imagine that these eggs are not fertile. I never checked. Wish now that I had. But they are diligent about it, so I'll leave them alone. Many of them have still not been there 21 days.

I don't think we will have any babies this time around, which is ok by me. They are still sitting on them, but the first should have hatched a week ago. Of course, she layed eggs for two weeks, so some might still be viable, but I sort of doubt it at this point. I just feel badly for Roger and Milly who have worked so hard, sitting on those eggs.

I feel baby for Roger and Millie, but not for you! J/K. I know that babies are a lot of work and worry.

The eggs have been abandoned for more than 24 hours. I'm pulling the box tonight. I don't think these eggs were fertilzed at all as I have not caught Roger and Milly mating in recent months. It is for the best. I'm sorry for those of you who might have been able to adopt one of our babies, but I'm glad I'm not having to worry about 7 babies and having to handfeed.

    Perhaps I spoke too soon

This morning, I noticed that Milly was tearing up the paper in the bottom of the cage, and sure enough, when I came home a few minutes ago, there is a single egg lying on the bottom of the cage.
