Your boys are so hunky I love how their marbles coordinate with their coloring. They all look very healthy, you must be doing something right, Kari!

Actually, I want to put the green ones in with Rush, as he has a turquoise tint to his body, or red ones to go with his tail. I think the blue ones will end up with Murphy, and, I want to get different ones for Connor, as the peach ones go well with Wyatt, and, I'd like to have four different colors. That's just what I had at the time.

I missed this when you posted it (I'm so low on work today, sitting around waiting for reports to come in ). I saw you mention new bettas in another thread though so I found it! They are beautiful. I love the flared out crown tail!

You're sweet. Yeah, I saw your post in that thread, too, you have a great way with words. That's Murphy, he's got a really full tail, it's so pretty!

I missed it too, but I must admit with my preoccupation with the puppy, losing Zipper and Mimi, recently, plus the cockatiel eggs, and life, I have not been opening many of the Betta threads. I realized that I have never taken a picture of Otto for you guys to see, either!

Kari, your Bettas are beautiful, and the water is so clear! How often do you have to change it? For some reason, I thought the bettas had to have some kind of lid on their tanks........see, I ought to be reading these threads more carefully. They don't jump out? And I love the glass marbles, rather than the nasty gravel that we have. Helen and I are going to have to equip all over again, I think!

Maybe Otto can get a prettier set up if they do fine in the open bowls. He is on the table in our entryway and gets lots of attention. I just love him, even though he is Helen's fish.

Aw, Logan, it's totally understandable! You have so much going on! And, you definitely should share a picture of Otto with us!

I started out doing a partial water change weekly and a full water change every two. That was my plan, anyway. But, now I decided to go with a full water change every week. I just buy the bottled water in jugs and use that. And, see, I always thought they jumped out, too, and, I think some do. But, I started out with covers on the tanks, but, my guys don't seem to have that urge at all! So, I leave them uncovered. And, the glass marbles are really nice, and, I think they are less dirty than the gravel. And, prettier, I think.

Our guys get tons of attention! I sit on the counter and David stands on the other side and we talk to eachother through the tanks and to the fish too. They are in a really busy part of the house, and, they get really active when the dogs are barking!

I think Connor is my favorite, he's very alert and really sweet! He takes food out of my fingers, it's cute!
