I am so very sorry . What a horrible memory for you to heal from.
(I am going to find my garden toad and evict him ASAP!!!) I forgot that they are poisenous. In memory of Dear Sampson, I will kindly escort Mr.Toad far, far away.

And to think that we have a toad that sticks around our yard quite a bit, neither dog bothers him at all. I actually have pictures of Sierra and the Toad nose to nose!![]()
I will be sure to keep a close eye on the toads in my yard.

The severeness of posion depends on the toad really..here is a helpful site, it shows how to prevent this all...if only i'd have known this all before, anyhow..it's a good heads up for you all. It focuses on a specific toad in australia but it is still good advice, and you can find other species on there too.
