    Another update: Barbaro's condition has been downgraded. He now has acute severe laminitis in his left hind leg (the good leg) and only 20% of the hoof ramains attached to the coffin bone. His chances are grim so any extra prayers anyone can give for him would be appreciated. His owners and vets have dictated that he will not be allowed to suffer and at the moment is comfortable on lots of pain medications but unles something drastic good happens soon he isn't going to make it. He could use all the prayers you can give.

    Thats terrible!! I know how bad lamininitis can be.. my horse got a acute case of it from being cast in her stall.
