    I have chatted to some soccer people here and in the UK, and they pointed out this article in The Sun in the UK.

    Can't see that they will let the result stand anyway. You can't fault his footballing skills............

    Saw Wayne Rooney at Manchester Airport in April (in the Executive Lounge) and he was really quiet and unassuming

    Yeah, I thought that too, he is a brilliant player (when he plays fair!) and I don't think FIFA would stop him getting the award just because of some bitter English fans!
